For several years now, SoCal Office Technologies has been educating our customers in regard to digital MFPs and how they store images on their hard disk drives. As a result, many of our customers added Image Overwrite and/or Data Security Kits to their MFPs which encrypt and/or overwrite the data that is stored on these hard drives.
These features ensure that images can never be retrieved from the hard drives. This level of security came to the forefront, in late 2009, when CBS published a special report focusing on Digital Copiers and images left on hard disk drives. We continue to offer the latest MFP technology with numerous security features built-in.
